Dragon Chicken

Pada kali ini saya mau share tentang Dragon Chicken. Dan berjumpa lagi dengan saya di blog Nasuha Blogdan bagi teman teman yang ingin blog ini update terus silahkan berkomentar ya . .. ^_^ Baca juga tentang postingan saya sebelumnya :

This is a simple recipe which is easy to make and delicious too. This dry and spicy dish can be served as an appetizer or as a side dish for fried rice or as part of a Chinese meal.
I got this recipe from a book called Pachakam (cooking) . This is one of the items in the menu of a restaurant called “Mango Tree” which is owned by Malayalam film star Dileep. I tried this many times and it tastes very yummy.
Actually this is made with chicken wings but I made this with boneless chicken.


Ingredients:
  1. Boneless chicken- 250gms
  2. Maida- 1/2cup
  3. Cornflour- 1/2cup
  4. Egg- 2nos
  5. Soya sauce- 1/2tsp
  6. Salt- as required
  7. Pepper powder- 1tsp
  8. Water- to mix
  9. Oil- for frying
  10. Ginger (grated)- 1tbsp
  11. Garlic (chopped)- 1tbsp
  12. Celery (chopped)- 2tbsp
  13. Spring onions (chopped)- 2tbsp
  14. Red chillies (chopped)- 2nos
  15. Capsicum (sliced)- ½ no
  16. Onions (sliced)- 1no
  17. Kashmiri chilli powder- 1tbsp
  18. Tomato sauce- 3tbsp
  19. Soya sauce- ½ tsp
  20. Salt- as required

Method:
  1. Take ingredients from 2 to 8 in a bowl and mix well without forming any lumps. Into this, add the chicken and mix well.
  2. Heat oil in a kadai and drop the chicken pieces one by one in hot oil and fry them. Drain this on a kitchen towel. Yes it tastes wonderful at this stage. Just try one or two. Make sure you leave enough chicken pieces after you taste it multiple times. :-)
  3. Now heat little oil in pan and add ginger, garlic and saute them well. Add celery, spring onions and red chillies and saute them well.
  4. Add capsicum, onions and mix well. In this add Kashmiri chilly powder, tomato sauce and soya sauce. Adjust the salt as per your taste buds.
  5. In the above dry gravy, add the fried chicken pieces and mix well.
  6. Serve this hot.
