Looking for a different Gobhi recipe which tastes good as well? This achari gobhi is a delicious change from the regular gobhi ki sabzi and can be made with the basic ingredients that are used to make pickles. Here is the recipe.
All you need is
Gobhi \ Cauliflower - 3 cups ( cut into small florets )
Oil - 4 tbsp
Onion - 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Tomato puree - 2 tbsp
Curd - 2 tbsp
Achari masala - 1 tbsp ( Recipe here )
Red chili powder - 1\2 tsp
Salt to taste
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
Amchoor powder - 1\2 tsp
Fresh coriander - 2 tbsp ( chopped )
Method of preparation
Add 2 tbsp oil in a pan.
Add the gobhi florets and fry till slightly browned.
Remove from the pan.
Heat the pan again.
Add the remaining 2 tbsp oil.
Add onion and fry till slightly browned.
Add ginger garlic paste and fry for a minute.
Add tomato puree and curd.
Fry for a minute.
Add achari masala, red chili powder, salt and half cup of water.
Fry for a minute.
Add fried gobhi.
Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
Add lemon juice and amchoor powder.
Mix well.
Garnish with fresh coriander.
Serve hot with phulka and dal rice.
